My understanding about IT

What is IT in your opinion?

When we ask other people, many of them will have a different view about the purpose of IT.

So let we know what Information Technology is.

In this week, we have learned in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.

Based on what I have learned in chapter 1 about Business Driven Technology, I can know that Information Technology (IT) is a field concerned with the use of technology in managing and processing information and Management Information Systems (MIS) is a general name for the business function and academic discipline covering the application of people, technologies, and procedures – collectively called information systems – to solve business problems.

As we know, every day we have used technology to make some work, for ease of learning and others function.

So it is important to us to know about information technology.

It is also important to understand data, information, business intelligence, IT cultures and IT resources when we talk about IT.
In IT cultures, there have 4 organizational information cultures.
That is Information-Functional Culture, Information-Sharing Culture, Information-Inquiring Culture and Information-Discovery Culture.
